The most restrictive part of the Dodge truck exhaust is the Y-pipe section. The oem Y-pipe has one of the pipes squeezed down to half its size to fit into the 3" pipe! An upgraded Y-pipe will remove this restriction. This piece is mandrel bent unlike the press bent OEM setup so this will also give better flow. The outlet of the pipe is 3" INSIDE diameter which allows your muffler shop to slip this over an oem pipe. This is a muffler shop install unit, not a bolt on.
