This is the #2 question I read about all the time! #1 is the mopar rice valve and #3 is a BOV question.

First thing you want to do is to allow the engine to cool down.

1. Remove intake system. 2. Remove the bolts on the manifold using a 13mm wrench. The one that’s on the top towards the back can become an issue removing if you strip it. Put pressure with one hand down on the wrench so it wont slip as you turn it. If available use a 6point box end wrench. YOU DONT HAVE TO REMOVE THE HEATSHEILD, JUST SLIDE IT OVER SO ITS EASIER TO PUT BACK ON. If your able to get only 2 bolts back on, then you have done good. :) The sheild bends when you mess with it so as long as you have the bolt thats on top of the turbo and one on the manifold, your good to go.

3. Using needle nose pliers, remove the pin on the WG valve.

4. Remove bolts the two bolts from the WGA bracket.

5. Remove the vacuum line on top of the stock WGA and put a bolt or a plug in it.

6. Install new WGA. Turn the arm using the welded nut with a 11mm wrench toward the firewall till it gets taught.

7. On the turbo, you will see a blue line coming off the compressor housing. Cut the rubber that joins the blue hose and the compressor nipple in the middle and insert a T . Run a hose from this t into the new WGA.

8. Reinstall the intake and the heat shield. Chances are you will not get all the bolts back in because the shield bends easily. As long as you have about 3 installed, you should be good.

9. Bend up the heatsheild a little bit using the needle nose pliers. You want to bend the area where the arm is at so it can give you more clearance.

10. Drive the car and set the arm till you get the boost you want. Once you have that set, tighten the jam nut.

I prefer to use the unit with an EBC. You will not get the spikes you do. Spiking and part throttle boost is normal. So is the reduction in lag.

If you have an EBC, set the wga to 13-14psi as the means. The new billet unit runs 15psi at the least so set it for 15psi as the means. I don’t mean spike or what it is at redline, I mean what the boost gauge reads after the spike occurs and settles, generally from 3k-4krpm. Once it’s set, raise it up with the EBC. Make sure you tune it in with the EBC in the off position. If you have a MBC, remove it prior to tuning in the WGA.
