NOTE!!! NOTE!!! NOTE!!! NOTE!!! This is not a 100% bolt on system. Do to the various platforms (4x4, 2x4,short cab, extended cab, 2 door, 4 door) we offer this as a universal Dodge ram system. What this means is that you will need your exhaust shop to trim the x-pipe to fit your bed/cab length. The tailpipes will need the included hangers welded and your exhaust shop needs to address the Y-pipe up front also because that varies from year to year and 4x4 to 2x4. We provide extra bends so it can help fabricate the Y-pipe. This is the first true setup on the market. It features a true dual exhaust set which means that each exhaust bank has its own piping vs a Y-pipe which is restrictive. The system is connected behind the catalytic converters then goes into an X-pipe which balances the left and right banks exhaust pulses as well as give you a deep tone and higher torque. After the X-pipe each pipe goes into its own individual muffler then goes over the axel into a stainless steel tip. Being that we make these inhouse we can give you an option of a rolled edge tip or a slash cut tipe. The tips are 3.5" diameter. The system will give you a nice HP gain as well as better fuel economy. It also has very little interior drone to were you can have a conversion with out being disturbed. The sound is nice and aggressive but not obnoxious. OPTIONS PLEASE READ . Exhaust Depot Muffler: These are authentic private label mufflers made by Flowmaster. The box does not say Flowmaster on it but it does say Made in the USA so your assured its not a poor quality knock off china chambered muffler. Flowmaster: If you want a Flowmaster muffler in an actual flowmaster box then select it below. This is for a 40 series muffler. A super 40 will be to quite for a true dual but is good for a single setup. If you must have a super 40, email us for the price. Magnaflow Muffler: The magnaflow muffler is a straight throuh design and sounds milder than the dual chamber setups above. The system comes in a large and heavy box. |
