After great success developing the fender brace for the CSRT-4, we went ahead and made it for teh NSRT-4. The fender brace prevents your frame from twising (like when you ring out a wet towel). The front clip (where the fender bolts up to) is welded to the cars frame a few inches in front of the door. This is a week spot in the frame. With a fender brace, you will notice a HUGE difference on how the car handles and responds. In fact you will notice a difference in something as simple as changing lanes! You will achieve the following: 1. Less bump steer (when you hit a pot hole the car is less likely to jump off course ). 2. Stiffer front end to where the car turns easier with less input. 3. Much tighter turning, more than what a strut tower bar will give you. Pictured is our prototype, the production piece is about 4" longer length wise. To install you remove your fenders then remove 2 of the four bolts that hold the door in place. Slide the brace over the door hangers then tighten it down. Install supplied bolts to the brace on the clip. |
