There are 3 studs and 1 bolt on the stock 02 Housing. YOu must remove these in order to remove the downpipe.
I STRONGRLY RECOMMEND YOU USE WD40 FIRST ON ALL THE BOLTS!!
You can remove the two nuts from the top of the engine bay, the other two you can remove by positioning your self in front of the rack and pinion area. You can also use long extensions to get the other two.
The most important nut you need to watch out for is the one at teh 12 oclock postion. This has a bolt on it. The rear of the bolt has a metal tang. As you turn the nut, the tang will prevent the stud from rotating.
IF YOU DO NOT USE WD40 AND LET IT SIT, WHEN YOU TURN THE NUT, IT WILL CAUSE THE BOLT TO BEND THE TANG CAUSING THE BOLT TO SPIN!!!!!!! WHEN THIS HAPPENS YOU ARE SCREWED CAUSE YOU CANT GET A WRENCH BEHIND THE HEAD OF THE BOLT!
It happened to me once and thank God I had a plazma cutter and I turned it into butter, or else ill still be under there.
