We have developed an affordable downpipe/02 housing combo system which makes a significant increase in HP while also adding a nice deeper sound to the system. ALL our downpipes come ceramic coated to offer you the best in performance (For more info read below about ceramic coating)! The OEM system has two restrictive ceramic catalytic converters. One in the O2 Housing and one in the downpipe. Our off road system replaces both cats and goes from a 2.25" (OEM size) to a full 3"! We also offer a metallic 300 hole OBDII compliant catalytic converter which flows awesome! The OFFROAD system comes with an o2 boss for the stock o2 sensor and a CEL eliminator to help against no cat cels on the track version of the downpipe. This is not gauranteed that you will not get a cel, its just an aid. We have noticed that by bolting on a full 3" downpipe to the stock 2.25" system will hinder performance at the connection. The pipe does not tapper down which causes the exhaust to crash into the stock catback. We have come up with a solution to this. We offer our downpipe standard with a rear section which bottlenecks down so you have a smooth transition into the stock catback system. You can replace this and install our full 3" rear section to bolt up to a system with a 3" system. You can select this straight pipe in the options below. CERAMIC COATING 411: Ceramic coatings, when used within their parameters, offer superior corrosion resistance and thermal properties at elevated temperatures. Up to 8 times part longevity, increased exhaust gas velocity for power and decreased underhood temps are some of the highlights of Ceramic Coatings. Our Matte Black ceramic finish offers increased exhaust gas velocity and lower underhood temps and is color stable to 1700 deg. F. Our Matte Black ceramic has a low corrosion resistance. That being said, all Matte Black orders get undercoated with a highly corrosion resistant ceramic first. We have found this system to give the best overall performance at temps above 1300 deg. F. We can offer you a silver finish if you like but it wont go as high in temperature and we can only do it on a non catted DP.
