THE BEAST intercooler is an ideal unit for your Stage 3 turbo and stock turbo setup (If you have a larger turbo such as a t3/t4 etc, then please see our SUPER BEAST unit)! A gain of 20 wheel Horsepower is common using our setup on the stock turbo.
RESEARCH:
We went through 4 different designs before we came up with THE BEAST intercooler. Our other units were OK but we wanted the better denser cores and cast endtanks. We did our own in house design and spent alot of money doint it too! Unlike 75% of the market, out intercoolers are not sold by multiple vendors as there brand unit.
CORE:
We contracted a OEM aircraft Core manufacture to fabricate our cores. We utilize a large dense 25"x10"x3" core. Exhaust Depot Intercoolers utilize dense bar and plate cores vs inferior tube and fine designs to aid in better heat transfer. We also utilize holes in the internal fins to provide minimal pressure drop across the core.
ENDTANK:
We took the unit one step further and used Cast curved endtanks just like the factory one. This provides the best transition for the air by allowing it to do a gentle 90 degree turn unlike the sheetmetal endtanks which cause the air to crash into the endtank then turn.
FINISH:
Each unit comes with polished endtanks. We also have a stealth version which can be selected below. We use a thin viscosity paint which does not hinder performance on the unit. The stealth version cost more and will not be reflected in your check out. We will add it on our end.
