This is the ultimate intercooler for the SRT-4 by far! We went as far as we could with out having to cut into the factory bumper. Great for the stock(no PTB) and bigger turbos. If you have a Large turbo such as a T3/T4, GT series etc, then this is for you. If you plan on upgrading your turbo this is a great unit for you. If you use this on a stock turbo, you will get the same HP as the beast except that you will eliminate 75% of part throttle boost which means better milage driving around town. WHen you upgrade to a stiffer waste gate, your car will hit full boost by only going half way down on the throttle. This is annoying around local traffic because you will hit 15psi just turning at a light etc. CORE: It's a massive 11"x25"x4" core! All you will ever need for your most demanding big turbos! Exhaust Depot Intercoolers utilize dense bar and plate cores vs inferior tube and fine designs to aid in better heat transfer. We also utilize holes in the internal fins to provide minimal pressure drop across the core. Also ulike the cheaper units out there our fins are not to dense which means your radiator will get enough air to cool down. The cheaper ones use smaller fins which restrict flow to the radiator like your ebay specials out there. You get what you pay for. ENDTANK: We spent a couple of thousands for the tooling to make cast endtanks. The endtanks are made out of a smooth casting. This allows the air to transition into the core smoothly allowing less turbulance in the tanks just like the OEM unit did. FINISH: The Unit comes in a polished finish or in a stealth version.
