When changing your fuel pump, this is the easiest way to remove fuel from the system. No need to suck on a hose though I know how much some of you would love to. :) If you have an 03, take out the shrader valve at the end of the fuel rail and put a hose there also. I prefer this way, easier for me. Those with 04+ that have no shrader valve must disconnect the hose feeding the fuel rail. Squeeze on the plastic clips and then pull on it. Now open the relay/fuse box on the driver side of the engine bay. Pull out the fuel pump and jumper the pins as shown in the pic (click image for larger picture). Once its jumpered, put hte key in the ignition position and the fuel will then star pumping out.
