These systems are made with mandrel bent piping which offer up to 5% more flow vs Pressbent piping. Press bent pipes are what your local muffler shop uses for the most part. Press bent piping gets crushed at the bends which cause them to wrinkle or reduces the actual size of the pipe. A 2.5" pipe will can go down as much as 1/2" at the bends! A mandrel bent pipe will be consistent all the way through with no wrinkling or compression. A mandrel bending machine is 10 x the price of a regular pipe bender so chances are you cant get it done at a local muffler shop. Most of these systems are made to be a direct bolt on with minor modifications so chances are you will not have to take it in to a muffler shop.
